Kito is a 13-year-old female Senegal who was surrendered to PEAC when her owner no longer had time to give to her. Kito, now eating a balanced diet, is in beautiful feather. She is an extremely fun little bird, which enjoys dancing to music and hanging out with her human flock members. She says a few words, but more often she likes to do all kinds of whistles, clicks, and other vocalizations. She interacts well with most people in her life, and steps up well. She loves a good head and neck-rub and cuddle time. She loves car rides and will whistle and blow kisses the whole ride. She is relatively quiet and would do well with a human companion who lives in an apartment or condo.
At the beginning of November this sweet little girl who has been in the foster program so quite a long time reach out and literally picked this great couple. Both her new dad’s are so very happy with her and she has made herself right at home as though she had always been a part of their lives together. Stories like Kito’s bring back a positive energy to continue the work we do at PEAC
