The Chicken Sponsorship

Our Sponsorship Program is dedicated to the memory of “Chicken,” a Festive Amazon. Chicken was adopted by Layne David Dicker and Sally Spencer. Chicken succumbed to lung cancer in his twenty-eighth year of life. He was much loved and greatly missed.

Through word of mouth, PEAC’s excellent reputation has become widely known. With this attention comes an increase in the number of birds needing our help. The increased volume of birds coming through our door has added an additional financial burden on the organization. Each one of our parrots requires an initial veterinary expense totaling around $500, in addition to the cost of food and toys.

We are appealing to you as a fellow parrot lover to help us help these homeless birds. Please consider enrolling in our Sponsorship Program. For a continuing monthly contribution you can sponsor one or more of our birds. In return you will receive the satisfaction of knowing that a parrot’s life was enriched by your donation, and your name will appear on our Sponsorship List in our quarterly newsletter “Beak To Tail.” (If you wish to remain anonymous, simply check the box on the Sponsorship Program enrollment form.) All donations are tax deductible and directly benefit our birds.

Simply fill out the Sponsorship Enrollment Form and return it with your donation. After enrolling, for your convenience, you will receive an envelope each month for your donation. The birds are waiting, and they thank you for your contribution!
